World Down Syndrome Day 21st March 2015 - Don't Be Sorry-VIDEO
I have been writing a blog called "Don't Be Sorry" for just over a year now. It's all about my life with my son Oscar. Oscar was born in July 2012 and unbeknownst to us, had Down Syndrome. I talk openly and honestly about how life is for us in the blog. I try not to sugar coat things but at the same time i'm hoping that in reading it, it'll change some peoples misconceptions about how they view Down Syndrome.
This is Oscar. He’s my son. He also happens to have Down Syndrome. I know I am only one voice but I figure it’s time to diminish any misconceptions or prejudices about Down Syndrome, that we might have…. And when you look at this face, how could anyone be sad to have him as a part of their life? I am officially the luckiest mummy in the world.
